People whose work involves the water systems and responsibilities described in this course. It helps learners understand their role and when to raise a concern; it does not replace site-specific instructions or practical competency sign-off.
Learning outcomes
- Understand why business-use hot tubs and spa pools need a written Legionella control regime.
- Complete and record pre-use, weekly and monthly monitoring tasks in line with the site procedure.
- Plan water changes, cleaning, filter care, chemical checks and guest changeovers safely.
- Use a risk-based microbiological sampling plan and act on adverse results.
- Recognise when the spa pool must be restricted, closed or referred to a competent person.

Complete 1 required assessment at the points shown in the course. Use the same email address as your learner account so results can be matched to your record. Your portal shows whether a result is recorded or is still awaiting marking.

Keep your evidence
After all required work has passed, download your certificate. Your learner area also keeps your progress, results and a downloadable training record, alongside access to the assigned material for revision.
ASSESSMENT
How your learning is checked
Assessment instructions appear at the relevant point in the course. A failed knowledge check allows one retest; further learning or reassessment can be arranged with AquaComply if needed. Your certificate is released only after every required assessment has a passing result.

Structured assessment
Required knowledge checks evidence understanding, with one permitted retest following an unsuccessful attempt.
